Stolen phone - forgotten Apple ID password

On Sunday I had my phone stolen, I have a new phone which I want to use my apple ID on but I have forgotten the password to this account.

(on here now using my work phone apple ID account)

I've started account recovery (approx 3 days) but want to know if there is anyway I can change the password sooner to access my apps, photos etc on my new phone?

Only if you can remember the original password.
