iCloud backup

Hi! My phone is showing that I’m almost out of iCloud storage because I have this phone on it but also my iPhone 8 Plus on it. I don’t want to delete the 8 plus backup without knowing that nothing will be deleted or wiped from this phone. Can you please let me know if I am okay to delete that backup? Will everything that is now on my new phone remain?

Deleting an iCloud Backup does not affect anything on a device. There are instructions on deleting (if you need them) in: Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support
