I can't seem to get my watch connected to my apple id. It's also has gps and cellular, but i'm not getting calls on it

Is the watch paired with the phone? If no, follow the instructions in the article Sean linked to.
If it is paired, have you made sure it's not set to Theatre mode or Do Not Disturb?
