When your Watch hits (I think) 10% it will automatically go into Power Reserve and will not leave until you charge the Watch. When it does this, it’ll display the red lightning bolt to show that it needs to be charged. If you Watch was hanging it would display a big green bolt with a green ring around it. Once you charge the Watch, it should automatically come out of Power Reserve. More info here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204608

Hello,
First try to force restart the watch press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

Now that another poster has spoken about charging, I was able to compare your screen to that. It is so blurry on my computer that I couldn't recognize what it was. As they said, you need to charge the watch.
Have you tried to reset it? Hold the Digital Crown and power buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The watch should reboot. Has this watch been paired to an iPhone already?
All you have to do is charge your Apple Watch. Thats what the red lightning icon is telling you.
Yes, it’s been paired and I have help both dials down and nothing happens. The photo shows what it does when I hold down the dials, than the screen goes black.
Thanks,
Ann
My watch is 3 days old. I though the charging symbol meant it was charged not that it needed to be charged.
Thanks,
You're welcome.
