Mojave and Seagate external backup

I installed Mojave and my Seagate Backup Plus ceased to work. I see that it is not supported in MacOS10.14 . Suggestions welcome on best way to proceed.

I’m not sure what’s “not supported” because web site lists that it’s Mojave compatible, could be certain software.

I know this doesn’t help on its own but at least you can now try and find out how to get it working again.

Seagate website offers a troubleshooting link which might be useful.

This may also help but ignore the push on their software.

The drive does mount but the drop-down menu in Finder no longer includes the option Backup Now and I can find no way of changing this situation.

Is the "Enter TimeMachine" option available? IF not click on Open TimeMachine Options and see if the drive is still selected as a TimeMachine drive.
