Old track pad

Currently track pad is connected to iMac and I want to connect it to iPad. The blue tooth on iPad is not picking up trackpad.

Magic Trackpad Just purchased a Magic Trackpad to use with a Mac Pro Late 2013. Trackpad comes with a lightning to USB C cable. Instructions to pair with the computer require using this cable to connect to the Mac Pro, which has only USB A and Thunderbolt ports.. Is there a way to pair the device to the computer via Bluetooth? Alternatively, what is the best USB C to A adapter to connect the Trackpad to the computer?

There is no support for a trackpad with an iPad.
