Refurbished ipad

I was thinking of buying refurbished ipad pro 10.5. However I am not sure whether spending that much of money on a refurbished product is a good idea! Please suggest what should I do? Also how long can i expect it to last if i am careful with it? Are there any disadvantages in repair or return policy compared to new ipad?
