How do I stop my iPhone from prompting me to set up two factor authentication

My iPhone keeps prompting me (by sending notifications when my screen is locked) constantly to set up two factor authentication. I don't want to use it but there just doesn't seem to opt out or cancel. Even if I acknowledge the notification and when it brings me to set up, I hit cancel... it only results in my phone again prompting me a few minutes later to set up two factor auth. Is there any way to permanently disable this so I won't get prompted again?
