Make GarageBand automatically compose my pieces into full-blown productions

In GarageBand, I briefly improvised some of my own original music saving each musical sketch together as a single mix. Dismayed at the poorly harmonized, bumpy, disorganized musical result, I began longing for GarageBand to automatically compose my own original music sketches together into a perfectly sounding full-blown production suitable for publication. Without a music degree, I lack the patience I would need for creating my own broadcast-quality musical productions, but I am capable of easily improvising my own original music. I wish GarageBand could give me a way to easily convert my musical improvisations into broadcast-quality productions. How do I make GarageBand automatically compose my pieces into full-blown productions?

GarageBand cannot do that for you. It offers many loops to use in your mix, some smart instruments to play an automatic drum track and tools for mixing your tracks, but you have to do the mixing yourself to your taste.

I have not tried any apps for automatic compositions, so I cannot recommend any, sorry.

I am occasionally using the Music Memos on my iPhone to record my song ideas. Music Memos will automatically add a bass line and a drummer track to the recorded vocals and I finish the project in GarageBand and Logic Pro X on my Mac. Frankly, I do not know any app that will come close to what you want. The app would need a lot of built-in artificial intelligence to be as good as an experienced artist to create a very good mix that is not boring and monotonous.

PG Music delivered to me the following message:

Hello Anvil,

There is a tool in Band-in-a-Box called the Audio Chord Wizard that will detect the chord information for any imported .MP3 file so theoretically you could import the chord data for a tune you made a while ago and build around it.

But, Band-in-a-Box can't combine pre-existing audio tracks and then mix them together seamlessly for you. I don't know of any software that exists that can do that, sorry. You would likely need to pick up a DAW of some sort and look into the process of mixing and editing audio. What you've mentioned isn't something that can be automated, generally speaking.

Thank you,
