iphone activation error

when i attempted to set up my iphone activation error appears. what shall i do?

Start with these instructions from Apple-->If you can't activate your iPhone - Apple Support. Let us know what happens. Note that you must have a SIM card in the phone, and it must be for the carrier the phone is locked to if the phone is SIM locked.
