Cannot activate game centre

I'm getting the following error message when trying to login to the game centre.

the requested operation could not be completed due to an error communicating with the server

Anyone else experiencing Timeout error on Call Of Duty Mobile Activision login? I’m experiencing an issue, since updating to 16.4.1, login in to my Activision account on Call of Duty Mobile. I log on with password, confirm Captcha and the when game starts loading after login it runs to 99% and I get Timeout error on screen. Tried Wi-Fi and LTE, different networks and ISP.

Checking here, Apple - Support - System Status there appears to be a Game Center issue. You will have to watch until it is resolved.
