Focusrite input as mono

I got a Focusrite Solo 2nd gen, it records in mono, if i record i can change the settings to record 2 mono channels, However i am wondering if it's possible to use the XLR microphone and Focusrite while on a call for example and using the microphone? Currently the other end hears only on the left side which is understandable since the device is mono, is there a way to set it up so it'll be heard on both sides while talking on a call and not just when recording?

Apple CarPlay not using cars built in microphone for phone calls apple carplay is not using car microphone to make phonecalls. The options when making phonecalls are only internal microphone in iphone. The car microphone works for siri though.
