cannot connect to apple id

everytime i try to connect to apple id on my iphone x max it says that it that there was an error connecting to the apple id server

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.
