Color problems

Whenever I switch the "reduce white point off, the color suddenly switch to this janky color scheme. I know for a fact it wasn't this way before, and I'm wondering what could be wrong.

Are those cracks in a screen protector or cracks in the actual iPad screen?

If the latter, then that is the source of your iPad Air’s screen color woes.

Most iPads have laminated screens with glass and LCD/digitiser hardware glued together.

As rbrylawski has pointed out, the digitising hardware could be damaged from the all of the extensive screen cracking.

Bring your iPad into your nearest, “local” Apple Store for diagnosis, evaluation and potential options.

Are those several cracks I can see on your iPad Screen? If they are, that could certainly be part of your issue. To crack an iPad Screen, the iPad had to be dropped. There could be internal damage causing the digitizer to malfunction. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius bar where they'll offer you an out of warranty replacement at about 60% of the cost of the device when new.
