weird phone number

uhm it’s kinda of sketchy but this number +229 6825**** has been calling everyone. the number is from south africa and when you call it back it goes into someone’s conversation which is weird and some people have even said it left voice mails.. when you call it back you get a message saying you have international charges too🙄 but can someone please explain!!

Why would you call back a number you don't know, just because it called you? It is more than likely some type of scam, but you calling it back let the machine know that yours is a valid working phone number.

What would you want someone to explain here? No one would know what that call is.
