Upgrading to Mojave

I have a late 2009 model iMac and want the the latest system of Mojave. Is this possible? Can i purchase a new hardware so that it can be installed? Right now I'm running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with the latest update of High Sierra.

iMac, OS X 10.10

A 2009 iMac cannot run Mojave, have a look here, How to upgrade to macOS Mojave - Apple Support

You are saying you are running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with the latest update of High Sierra, that does not make sense,

you are either running Yosemite or High Sierra, so which is it or are you running two partitions/ disks with a different OS on each.
