Showing history from other browsers in Safari?

👋 not necessarily an issue but why does Safari show browsing history from other browsers? I use chrome (on an android mobile) and on my Macbook, haven't used Safari on the Macbook apart from cross-browser testing, so why does it have a history of sites I've visited on Chrome?
