I am currently using 32 bit Office. Can I buy the new version of Office from the Apple Store and still have my 32 bit documents saved?

Documents are not 32 or 64 bit. They are just documents. Only apps can be 32 or 64 bit.

The new Office version should be perfectly capable of opening documents created on the 32 bit version of Office.
