How do I retrieve my contacts on my apple watch. I have reset sync data and also reset my watch

Contacts are not a separate app on the Apple Watch. They are accessed via the phone or messages app. Are you saying that you cannot access them there? Check the Watch app on your iPhone to ensure they are selected there. If so, try doing a reset on the Watch, hold the digital crown and power buttons together until you see the Apple logo. The Watch will reboot. If that does not do it, then un-pair the Watch and then re-pair it again.
