Hi Mcgonny,
I don't see any reason it couldn't be done. you are simply entering data in two (or three) columns.
Open a new (blank) document.
Label the columns Name, Stone, Pounds OR Name, Weight.
Enter the names in column A.
Enter the weight in column B using the format 8 St. 12 Lb. OR
Enter the Stones part of the weight in column B and the pounds part in column C, using number values with no unit attached.
Either will work if you are simply recording a list of values. If you intend to use the values in further calculations, the second choice (separate columns, numbers only entries) will work. The first option will work IF a similar format exists for Numbers in your region, or a custom format can be created, or you can create a formula to extract the St. and lb. number values from the text strings containing those values.
Regards,
Barry
