Hello,

If everyone has iPhones, and iMessages are sent, it won't be any problem. However, if even one person has a non-iPhone, SMS messaging will be used instead and some carriers have restrictions on the number of recipients which is usually 10:

About iMessage and SMS/MMS

The work-around may involve something like, email, Facebook or Whatsapp etc.
