Mac Keyboard issue

my keyboard has been switched to the only symbols keyboard by accident and now i cant type letters to unlock it. whats the shortcut to switch back to letters?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Then it seems SHIFT+alt keys are stuck or shorted out, holding those 2 keys & typing a s d f g gives me...

Can you plug in another say USB keyboard?


If not then it's Apple Store time.
