What is needed to use Apple CarPlay in my Volvo V70 2015?
I would like to use Apple Carplay in my Volvo V70 (2015, model yaer 2016) but do not know whether it is possible en how to do it.
You need two things...
- An iPhone that supports CarPlay. Most newer iPhone will be fine.
- A radio / headunit in your car that supports CarPlay. In 2015-2016, CarPlay was not as prevalent as it is today so your car might not support it. I'd double check with your car manufacturer to be sure.
Assuming you have both of these, it is just a matter of connecting a compatible cable from your car to your iPhone and go through the very simple setup process and you will be good to go.
