Hidden folder app in photos

I don’t get apple hidden folder in photos , it’s hidden and still people who have access to my phone can see it , it doesn’t make sense everyone know there is a hidden folder and some one have access to my phone can just open the folder ,

I believe the purpose of hidden is to avoid anyone who can access to not view my private pics but this is not helping .Apple need to set some authentication to hidden folder in photos app.

I think you are wrong about the purpose of the "Hidden" folder. I don't think it is intended as a secure place to hide photos, but rather a way to view the photos you have "hidden" (perhaps to declutter your other albums and views) and "unhide" them (recover them to view).

As Apple puts it in the Photos help for macOS Mojave:

"You can hide selected photos and show them only when you want to work with them."

The only way to keep photos secret on your iPhone is to keep your pass code secret. Do not tell anyone how to unlock your iPhone. And do not enable any apps to show on the lock screen, that you do not want anyone to see.

If you hide a photo it will not appear in the memories or on the maps. This helps to prevent you from showing it accidentally, but anyone who can unlock your iPhone can find it.
