When someone tries to text me it sends it to my email and not a text how can I change it so they can text me?

I am not sure if this is an error or a setting... so if you still can't fix it you can just call Apple support.
Go to: https://getsupport.apple.com and follow the steps. I've had some problems with my Apple ID and they helped me a lot!
