How to hide Switch Control banner when its turned on

Has anyone been able to figure out how to hide the banner on top of the screen while using Switch Control? I can’t seem to find any settings for that and it doesn’t hide automatically. This behavior is the same on both my iPhone 7 plus and iPad Pro 3rd Gen.

Bar at the bottom of ipad screen Is there a way to hide the swiping bar at the bottom of the screen, but still be able to use it as a function? Thus far I’ve only found the “guided access” workaround, which makes sense for gaming and such, but doesn’t solve my problem when I do switch between applications frequently, but would just prefer it not be visible (it’s especially frustrating when using procreate and the like). Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this still something the developers have chosen not to offer?

Hide preview only on banner I want to hide preview on banner that comes on top when we are using iphone. As it happens we show photos or videos to other people, while doing so I do want to receive notification who msg me on what app, but I want the content hidden till I am click and hold it. i do not see this setting, either it’s stopping preview all together. i want to affect on the behaviour of banner and not the notification center on lock screen
