Using an Ethernet to USB (c) adapter

Is there a setting for use of the Ethernet to usbc

The naming convention Apple uses is to name adapters starting from the computer-end, and me by port-function, not connector. They sell a Thunderbolt-3 (USB-C) to Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) adapter.


When the adapter is connected, it should appear as a new device in:


System preferences > Network


If it does not appear by itself, see if it is available when you attempt to add an interface with the [+] button below the box of Interfaces.
