How to transfer movies from iPad to Mac?

How to transfer movies from iPad to Mac using iTunes? I say movies specifically and not just videos on my iPad.

Also, there seems to be a lot of other ways via 3rd party applications but is there a way via iTunes or just the iPad and Mac alone?

If they are iTunes purchased films that are in the TV app do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
