Anyway to change the brightness, etc?

HDR Streaming with Disney+ on Safari After getting tons of blooming and no peak brightness I realized that my content is not streaming in 4k HDR. I have searched all over and see nothing about this topic. Disney+ claims to automatically play at the best quality where Safari claims to support HDR. So what am I not doing correctly? Battery setting is not set to “optimize video streaming while on battery”. I have been watching shows on my iPhone 13 Pro since I do not have a tv, and now that I finally was able to upgrade my computer I was hoping this would be a better viewing experience than my phone.. Any help would be appreciated!

External Display issue with streaming video service, Safari 14 When I use my external display through the lightning hub dongle I cannot watch Netflix. Youtube works fine. I'll see the video for about a second then the video goes black and all I'm left with are the subtitles and playback buttons. Is this an issue with the hub, safari, or Netflix?

Safari Does Not Stream Video from Streaming Services such as Tubi, Vudu, Crackle or Youtube I have a 2014 Mac Mini 1.4ghz 4GB RAM that isn't able to stream video (audio works just fine) on Safari using streaming services like Tubi, Vudu, Crackle or Youtube. I initially thought the issue was because the amount of ram that my system has, but I don't think that's the case, being that if I use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, the videos stream just fine. Safari does everything else, except for stream video. Each time I attempt to watch/stream a movie, the area where the video is supposed to be displayed is black, but you hear the audio for the movie. The slider appears at the bottom of the screen and if you move the cursor along the slider, you could see the frames of the movie/video. Could someone please tell me how to resolve this issue? I don't have this issue on my MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. And all updates have been applied, so I have no idea of what causes this issue on my MacMini using Safari. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Eric, good question. I opened up the displays preferences and I don't have a clue on what is going on there. Like a white point or calibration or whatever, I thought it seemed to difficult to tackle for my little pea brain

Does changing the display brightness or screen resolution in System Preferences/Displays help?

Did you try selecting different Display profiles in the Color tab? Making sure Night Shift is turned off?

I would try selecting something else as a test. You can always set it back to what it was.
