How can I remove a file in Activity Monitor?
flipshareautorun is listed in both Memory and Network within Activity Monitor. I am running Mojave, OS 10.14.4. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it?
iMac Line (2012 and Later)

OK, your explanation helped clarify a lot - thanks.
First of all, what Activity Monitor shows in its leftmost column are process names. A process is something that is running on your Mac. Processes use CPU, memory, and usually other resources. In your case, you are seeing network is being used as well.
Your assumption about being associated with a previous "Flip" camera sounds completely reasonable. So if correct (likely), then there would be one or more "Flip" applications likely residing in your Applications folder that you no longer need. You should remove the application. Here is how. Likely the "Finder" method will be easier for you.

Activity Monitor is not the place.
But look for the following:
/Library/Application Support/Flip Video/FlipShare Uninstaller.app
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.flipvideo.FlipShare.AutoRun.plist
/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.flipvideo.FlipShareServer.launchd.plist
also for parts and pieces:
in your login items >System Preferences>Users&Groups.
as well as:
~/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/StartupItems
Once removed, reboot.
Reboot.

You can search for and remove any flipshareautorun files you may find by downloading and searching with Find Any File. You'd do the following search:
Name contains flipshareautorun
Any files that are found can be dragged from the search results window to the Desktop or Trash Bin for deletion.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
If not a file, I do not know what else to call it. Years ago I had a “Flip” portable video camera, so I made the assumption this was where it came from. About once a week, I get a pop up saying that this “whatever it is” may not run properly with the current OS. No need for it to be there that I can see. If you have any insights as to what this is for, I’m all ears.
Well, that's the problem. As long as this thing has been popping up, I've kept looking for an associated app - nothing. I know there is nothing in the Applications folder and searching the Mac turns up nothing as well. Cannot figure out what else this could be associated with...
Your question makes no sense. Here are some of the reasons:
And by the way, the current version of MacOS Mojave is 10.14.5.
