Apple Watch glitch

My Apple Watch reported that I exercised 753 minutes which is incorrect, 40 minutes is more accurate. Can this be fixed please?

Congratulations on a very energetic day, most users are complaining the exercise ring is not moving enough!

Forced reset (reboot) your watch to rule out a software glitch. Simply press and hold the Digital Crown and side button for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, then release the buttons and let the watch restart. If that doesn’t clear the problem you might haste to drill down into the individual exercise records in the Health and Activity apps on your iPhone, and delete the wilder extremes.
