iPhone X - Green Lines: hardware/display problems

I bought this iPhoneX 14 months ago. Now, 3 green stripes mysteriously appeared on the screen.

Apple Brazil charged me R$ 1,700 to change the screen, even detecting hardware problem, not misuse. The claim was that it was out of warranty.

Many reports show the same problem. Plus, Apple itself classified It as a hardware problem.

So I understand this case is a Hidden Defect, able to generate a Moral Damages process if Apple refuse to exchange / fix my iPhone X.

Honest? Unfair? What is your opinion?

If anything, if you get repairs done on your device by Apple - and you experience issues, for a short period of time you will have warranty on the repair. Especially if this occurs right after you turned it on after the display was replaced.

The issue that caused this to your iPhone could be of many reasons. Either way, you should definitely go back to where you got it replaced.

Kind regards, K
