Apple Pay for iPOD Touch??

Was gifted $ via Apple Pay. Could not "accept" or take in the payment.

After much reading on Apple Support, I finally found out my iPhone 5S doesn't have/allow Apple Pay.

Step 2: I want confirmation that my iPod Touch 5 can or cannot accept the Apple Pay incoming payment. HOW can I confirm that?
