My date of purchase in 1/1/1985

Hello, I bought my macbookpro from local store in 11/2018 in Vietnam, and it was second hand. However, today I check my devices in apple site, I find date of purchase of my macbookpro 2017 is 1/1/1985. Can you help me know what happen with my device? Thank you

This always makes me laugh.

I've heard that this is Apple's way of saying that is sold "As-is" or "No warranty".

idk in what situations a apple would sell a no-warranty device, but that's all that means.
