enquiry about mac notifications

Hello,

I'm using macbook pro and just updated to macOS mojave version few days ago. everyday i will received many notifications say that "is your mac at risk" so i'm wondering if my laptop at risk or just ignore the notifications? and does it safe to download to scan my laptop?

'will damage your computer' notifications on Mac I get the notification of "p" will damage your computer. I delete it manually but it comes again when I close and re open my MacBook. What should I do? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

These popup are PUP (potentially unwanted Programs) Do not be baited into clicking them or installing any of their wares.

I suspect you have installed adware/malware. Try running this trusted utility https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/
