water damage to iPhone 6s Plus

My iPhone 6s Plus has some water damage! Still functional somewhat! No ringer sound, vertical lines, mute button icon pops up! Will it be costly to repair?

No good news for you, sorry.

An iphone that has suffered liquid damage is 99% not repairable. That's due to corrosion to internal components, motherboard included.

In such a situation, Apple stores specialists, after checking your device, could offer you a refurbished unit at a reasonable price. But you need to go there and ask for all the available options.

Since you're saying that your iphone is still working, create a full backup of your data as soon as possible. It could stop working suddendly, or have unpredictable behaviors.

Regards and best of luck.

Giulio
