Boot Camp Assistant freezes when partitioning disk

Hi, I've tried to run Boot Camp Assistant several times and each time it does not progress psst the partitioning disk part.

I have fire vault and Time Machine both turned off.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.14.5. on a Late 2015 iMac 5k.

The OS has just been freshly installed.

My diskutil list output is as follows-

Ians-iMac:~ iandickson$ diskutil list

Each time I do remove the partition that seems to be created when Boot Camp Assistant runs.

it never actually declares that it fails, it just doesn’t progress past around 50% (I left it running for a couple of hours).

i have no external devices connected apart from the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and also a G-Drive then is t powered up but is connected to a thunderbolt port.
