Cant seem to be able to make purchase from Chrome

I cant seem to be able to make a purchase from Chrome. Ifollowed their in-app directions. It doesn;t go through . I have correct billing information, Has anyone else experienced this issue. Were you able to fix?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.14

Mac App Store cannot be access using Chrome.

Use Mac App Store app on your dock.
