"Safari can’t export your bookmarks."

"Safari can’t export your bookmarks."

When I try to export my bookmarks using File/Export Bookmarks..., I always get the message "Safari can’t export your bookmarks." So, um, any ideas how to export bookmarks using Safari (12.0.1)?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Try updating Safari to the current version, which is 12.1.1, and see if that helps.
