Cracking/Popping Sound Coming From MacBook Air 2018

So every time I adjust my wrists or move my laptop, it seems to make a popping noise that scares me a lot. It isn't coming from the hinges, the display, or the clicking of the keys. The sound is actually located near the Trackpad. I hope that there is nothing terribly wrong as I spent over $1.7K on this machine.

I doubt there is any reason for concern but you can have Apple evaluate it at no charge: Contact Support and arrange for a Genius Bar appointment. It might be as simple as a bottom case screw that needs to be secured.
