Imessage

My iMessages was not sending or receiving anything yesterday so i turned off iMessage and turned it off, and now it has been waiting for activation all night and still is not working. I’ve tried updating my software, restarting my phone, airplane mode on and off, cellular off and on. Pretty much everything I’ve tried.
