i get a 5 digit code for my watch I’d name , but my phone wants a 6 digit code ?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 12

Please take a look at Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support and if that doesn’t help, post back to explain a little more, because your one line description doesn’t help us understand exactly what you are doing or what is going wrong.
