MCCloudConfigErrorDomain – 0x80EF (33007) - This device is already enrolled in the Device Enrollment Program

Hi,

When I try to restart my IPhone to enroll with DEP, I'm getting the error as follows but in my DEP account, there is no device in "Devices Added by Apple Configurator 2" or in another MDM servers. Why I'm getting this error? Is there anyone with an idea? Before I can achieve to restart this device with Apple Configurator 2, but last 10 days, I cannot do it.

The iCloud features are partially not working I reinstalled macOS on my macbook (currently running 10.15.7) and some of the iCloud features stopped working for me. Syncing tabs and history in Safari doesn't work and also Personal Hotspot on iPhone doesn't show up in the wifi menu on my mac (but works if activated manually). Also login to iCloud is painfully slow, asking for my mac or iPhone password several times (as I understand to decrypt data). And such a long login came after I updated my iPhone to iOS 15. Then I rolled back to iOS 14 while it was still possible and had the same problem of long login time, but all functions continue to work on IPhone. I've tried both logging out of Icloud on all devices, reinstalling the system again, and booting with a new user account. The problem remains. Can't sign in to Apple ID or iCloud on devices - but devices show on Apple ID list of connected devices I've recently bought a new iPad 8th Gen (A2270) to replace an aging iPad 2 (A1396). When setting up the new iPad I'm getting "There was an error connecting to iCloud" after entering my Apple ID and my password. I have 2-factor enabled and a code does comes through on my old iPad and my iPhone ok. But this 2-factor only came up on the first attempt at signing in or again on first attempt after resetting the device. If I log into Apple ID on a PC web browser, or look under Apple ID on either the old iPad or iPhone, I can see the new iPad in the list of devices but the new iPad is still asking me "Sign in to your iPad" in Settings. If I skip setting up Apple ID, the new iPad can go on internet via Safari, but it cannot go to icloud.com; where it says "Connection Error - icloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". New iPad is basically useless as I can't upload apps to use the iPad as the App Store needs the device to be looged into my Apple ID. Also, as a secondary issue, both the old iPad and iPhone are now asking me to "Update Apple ID Settings" and when I try and enter the Apple ID password they come up with the error "Verification Failed - An unknown error occurred". Neither device can connect to icloud.com in their respective web-browsers - "Connection Error - icloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". Seems some sort of 'handshake' between my device(s) and iCloud hasn't happened. Apple ID password has been changed as part of attempts to sort. Subsequent logging into Apple ID is fine from a PC web-browser, but I still have the same issues on my Apple devices. I've tried resetting the iPad; a few times. I've got a strong (3-bar) WiFi signal and fibre broadband connection to the property. New iPad and iPhone have been updated to iOS 14.1

VPP but not using DEP (Configurator 2) I work for a higher ed and we have about 30 iPad Air 2's. We're trying to get away from using a JAMF MDM and do everything with AC2. We have a VPP account with several apps. I can login to the VPP account from AC2 and select the apps I want to install on our iPads. But I run into a problem when trying to open the apps on the iPad that it can't verify it through our VPP account. I noticed that AC2 wasn't putting our VPP account onto the iPads during the Prepare. To fix this I decided I would delete the organization and recreate it ensuring the VPP account was entered and entered correctly. HOWEVER, now when attempting to add the VPP account I receive the following error: "(myvppaccount@ourhighered.edu)" cannot access the Device Enrollment Program. Please contact your organization's administrators. We do not participate in DEP because we have several different departments that all buy Apple products and getting DEP setup will not work not to mention getting past our legal dept. It was an act of congress to get a VPP account. All that aside, we've never had DEP and never run into a problem using AC2 to image and join our MDM. So why now is AC2 requiring a connection to DEP? How do I get past this, DEP is not an option. Thank you!
