iTunes movie purchases and rentals
Are we able to request a movie/s to be added to the store for rental or purchase. Surely there could be. Cheers

You can request them via iTunes : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
But you will be better off contacting the rights-holders direct, they control how/where their content is available (Apple/iTunes cannot do anything without the rights-holder's agreement).
