News widget in EU is not working 24hrs

Though Apple states on the system support page that all services are working, this is not true at all.

Everywhere in EU the news widget is not showing news. I understood in the USA there is not an issue. But anywhere else it is. And already for approx. 24hrs.

1. A response on Apple.com or any general communication on the topic would be nice to inform the community.
2. Fix the issue please.

When you click on the link shown by the widget you go a page referring to the Apple News app. As said that is only working in the USA. App is not even available here....
