“Apple Store” Location Message
A Message Popped Up:
“”Apple Store” has been using your location in the background. Do you want to continue allowing this?”
Why did this all of a sudden just pop up?
iPhone 6, iOS 12

It's asking you if you want to continue to allow the Apple Store app (which is not the App Store app, by the way) to continue to use location services in the background. In my opinion, it's not really necessary and will just waste battery life.
So, Apple Store app, is literally for the Physical Apple Store. Not the Builtin Option on the phone.

Will turning it off disable Find My iPhone?
The Apple Store app has nothing to do with Find My iPhone. It's an app you can use to access the Apple Store. You can purchase things, set up appointments for classes and for the Genius Bar.
Thank you for clarifying that.
I got a similar message on my Apple TV 3: Privacy & Data is Shown on Apple TV 3 - Apple Community
I’ve been aware of the update, of course, but I just hadn’t touched my Apple TV since the update came about.
So, this must all be related. Correct?

All’s turned off; it is found.
I must have Misunderstood you: “Apple Store app (which is not the App Store app, by the way)”
But the thing is found.

No, probably not. Just coincidence.

It is an app that you can download that can be very useful but it is not required.
