I have been charged 89.99 for a recurring subscription that I do not remember signing up for. It was free and then the charges kicked in. I asked for refund and this was what immediately appeared on the billing history

I have been charged 89.99 for a recurring subscription that I do not remember signing up for. It was free and then the charges kicked in. I asked for refund and this was what immediately appeared on the billing history We've determined that your purchase doesn't meet the conditions for a refund. I am going to dispute the charge on my credit card. I have cancelled the subscription. But I want this refunded.

I am a senior on a fixed income and am extremely upset by this abusive attitude.

I would urge you to only issue a dispute as the last resort.

Give Apple Support a call or chat and talk to someone in the iTunes Billing department. If this was not something you intended to do they can usually take care of it. I don't know how many months it has been going on since you didn't say, but I would at least attempt to talk to Apple directly first.

If you do the dispute then that would really cause problems trying to use that billing source/bank with your Apple ID moving forward. Even if that's what you end up doing, it's worth giving Apple a call first.

No this does not satisfy me. I want a refund and don't care what the "rules" are. This is plainly discrimination against the elderly.

I've jumped through their hoops. and I really don't want to chat but where do you find the instructions to chat or phone number. Also my account info keeps timing out. Which makes me even more angry. I had a similar problem with HP and they refunded me my money. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will be removing all information about my credit card effective immediatelyl.
