Report A Scam App or Fraudulent Use

How do users report an app that is a scam and should be suspended from the App Store?

E.g a “Free App” that then goes on to take a large sum from a user’s account every week.

The “report a problem” link is only for reporting bugs to the developer.

Would this form be of help.

iTunes Store - Contact Us - Apple Support

I suppose you need to select "Account and Billing" under Topic at the top and then use the Details box to describe the issue, it does allow you to add order numbers etc. so they can match things up as well.

Thanks.

That appears to be for Apple products though, not apps developed by third parties and distributed through the App Store.

The problem is an app that is advertised as free (in the store and advertised on Facebook), but with In App Purchase, but starts taking weekly payments off anyone who installs high. The payments are around £6.50 / $8 per week!

The developers page is missing and people cannot work out how to stop their subscriptions. Everyone is reviewing with 1 star and requesting help to stop the payments.

I think there should be a really easy way to report this type of behaviour to Apple if spotted, but I cannot see how.
