You'll need to pop your iPhone into recovery mode and then restore it.

With an iPhone 6, while it's connected to your computer, hold down both the power button and the home button for 30 seconds or until you see the iTunes logo appear on the screen and let go.

A box should appear in itunes that says, "There is a problem with your iPhone that requires it to be updated or restored..."

You'll want to click restore.

The recovery mode times out after 15 minutes. So if the software download takes longer than 15 minutes, you'll need to put the iPhone back into recovery mode.
