Contact card with "Me" keeps getting reset to the first contact card

The contact card with "Me" in grey letters to the right keeps getting reset to the first contact card in my iPhone. this also has affected all the Macs (4 total) & my iPad at work and at home. When I go to reset this:


Settings > Contacts > My info


it temporarily sets to my actual card and then auto changes back to the first card in my contact list again a minute or so later. this is making me nuts & I can not find a fix.


Anyone have any ideas?

Try this step, listed in: Add your contact info on iPhone - Apple Support

"Edit My Card

Tap My Card at the top of your contacts list, then tap Edit."
